EPA has been in business since 1964 as an electrical manufacturer’s representative agency serving the Indiana Market. Our aim is to market and sell products for manufacturers by anticipating what products will help the distributor, our mutual partner, grow in the Indiana market. We specialize in showing their customers a safer, lower installed cost solution.

Tools

Using state of the art tools to excel at selling products in the electrical industry. We continue to set the pace and makes changes in order to effectively communicate and meet the need of our manufacturers, distributors and end users.

 

  • Telenotes CRM System allows our sales team to phone in their call reports, which are then transcribed into our CRM. This tool ensures fresh information captured right after the sales call.
  • Each outside sales person has an iPad loaded with the latest literature, PowerPoints and Pricing.

Marketing

At EPA, we strive to provide easy access to information about our manufacturers, and their respective products and services, to help increase awareness and transparency to our customers to make the buying process quicker and easier.

To accomplish this goal, EPA is leading the way in terms of in-house marketing services.

 

We offer the ability to create:

  • Catalogs
  • Promotional flyers, product sales sheets and other print media
  • Email and Social campaigns
  • EPA Counter Day and other Event announcements
  • Got an Idea? We'll listen!

Some collateral is inclusive of all manufacturer lines, while others can be product specific to target a certain customer base or market segment.

This marketing collateral will not only enable our sales team to sell more comfortably, but will also increase visibility and name recognition of our manufacturers products and services.

 

Video Viewers

Our marketing and merchandising teams have combined efforts to be able to use video marketing at our distributor partner's counter areas to help position our manufacturers products in a unique way to help further educate and increase visibility of the brands and products we offer. This also benefits our distributor partner by providing them with free technology to help make selling more intuitive and visual-based.

 

Merchandising

Presentation is everything! Stocking distributors have access to our merchandising team to fine tune displays and counter spaces. We will work with you to create an effective and impactful showcase that will positively enhance sales. We aim to display products, keep customers informed, and drive impulse buys for marginal sales. Let our merchandising team optimize your counter space to ensure no sale is missed!

Service

EPA maintains a 58,000 square foot warehouse/office in Indianapolis with service as our main goal. We handle all sales calls, shipments and pick ups at this facility. We service 7 states in 1 day, 13 states in 2 days.

 

Install What We Sell

All offices have Keystone & SLG LED lighting installed with Intermatic Occupancy Sensors. The warehouse aisles showcase metal halide, T8, T5 and LED technology run by the Intermatic ET90000 16 circuit Programmable Networked Time Switch. Load per circuit is monitored by Fluke Connect wireless metering.

Customers are able to view these different lighting strategies, and see the corresponding loads, during a walking tour of our facility.

 

Demonstration Room

Here at EPA, we take pride in the brands that we represent and it is our initiative to help connect our customers with these brands and the various products they offer. Our Demonstration Room is at the forefront of this initiative. With over 800-sq ft of room to play, this is a fully interactive depiction of the lines we represent and Who We Are as a company. The Demo Room offers a hands-on environment where you can see and use the latest and most innovative products from our manufacturers.

 

Training Room

EPA also features a 600 square foot, state-of-the-art Training Room, which offers training courses throughout the year on topics that relate to our industry. Come see us soon, and take a walk through all that EPA has to offer!
